Exploring Sedona
Last week, I had the chance to visit Sedona. After my friend recommended it and said it's one of her favorite places, I thought it would be a great idea to go in an adventure with my husband and his folks. If you are into landscape and breathtaking sceneries and near Arizona, Sedona is a destination you may want to check out. Just make sure to go comfy and put enough sun blocker!
According to Visitsedona.com "Sedona nestles among a geological wonderland. Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the high desert floor creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes hourly with the light. When USA Weekend compiled their Most Beautiful Places in America list, Sedona claimed the top spot."
We got to explore The Chapel of The Holy Cross, did some walking, had lunch at a place called The Coffee Pot known for its 101 Omelettes! I had number 32 by the way. We also explored the shopping and dining areas located a little further. I must admit, I'm not much of an outdoorsy gal but I really much enjoyed it despite being rushed on the picture taking. There's so much to do, you may want to plan an early day to take full advantage of everything in the area or better yet, book a hotel near by and spread it apart to contemplate its breathtaking beauty.
